Obsidian Meeting Note Templates for Work

Taking Meeting Notes in Obsidian

Meetings are where work either gets captured or quietly lost, and this category's download treats the notes as a system rather than a stack of files. The Meeting Notes pack ships three templates, team meeting, 1-on-1 and client call, sharing one consistent layout of agenda, notes, decisions and action items, with frontmatter for attendees, date and project. A Dataview dashboard lists every meeting by type and project and, more usefully, surfaces every open action item across all of them on a single page. Four filled-in example meetings from one coherent project make the dashboard work on first open.

Pick the template per meeting, not per job. The 1-on-1 version earns its keep with recurring pairs, where last session's notes are the agenda for this one; the client call version leans harder on decisions and commitments. Action items are written in the Tasks plugin's date syntax on purpose, so if you run our GTD task vault, items lift straight into it.

For meetings that belong to larger initiatives, the project management vault links each meeting note to its project and rolls open actions up to a project dashboard. Installation is the standard routine covered in the Templates vs Templater guide: core Templates is enough, Templater is optional.
